The phenomenon of Phantom Quartz is an interesting example of one of the many wonders our nature presents. A Phantom Quartz is a Quartz crystal that has another Ghost Crystal inside it. The crystal in fact started its life cycle just like any other crystal. At some point in time during its growth, another mineral washed on top of it. This can happen due to a wide variety of events like some minerals from volcanic eruption or impurities from the surrounding are added, the crystal which got covered with such a foreign mineral took that event inside it and continued to grow with changes as compared to the original crystal it was growing into.
